You see, writing when you’ve lost motivation is a bit like cleaning the oven. Something you keep putting off because you know it’s going to be hard work and, frankly, sitting down with a cuppa, a Custard Cream and your favourite book or Netflix show is far more appealing.
But it’s actually perfectly natural to lose motivation - and something all writers struggle with from time to time, despite what they’d have you believe. So if you’ve lost your writing mojo, don’t worry; this episode will help.
You’ll learn:
- Why visualisation is an amazing motivational tool. You might think it’s a load of woohooery, but it’s powerful stuff that can really help you.
- How deadlines can actually be your writing BFF - rather than something to fear, they can actually give you that motivation you seek.
- The TOUGHEST question you can ask yourself to finally get real with your writing - it’s one you might not even want to admit the answer to!
So, if you’re in a motivational slump and have lost the love of writing, you’ll find plenty of ideas to help you get back into writing mode.
Hope you enjoy listening!
